In Daniel Silver's body of work, watercolour and drawings are perforated bodies. They are thought sculpturally. They are active elements, not only visual decorative outlining. Perforations are inscribed in the paper (the body). In their perforations and translucency, they breath like skin. Silver's drawings however, compared to his sculptures, could be thought as more mental operations.
