Following its acclaimed world premiere at London’s Royal Opera House last year, The Royal Ballet's The Dante Project will be broadcast on BBC Four on Sunday 23 January at 9pm.
The Dante Project is choreographed by Wayne McGregor, with a score by Thomas Adès and set and costumes by Tacita Dean. The role of Dante is performed by Edward Watson, marking the celebrated principal dancer's final performance with the company. Watson is joined by Gary Avis as Virgil, Sarah Lamb as Beatrice and artists of The Royal Ballet.
