Released to coincide with the 94th birthday of celebrated architect Balkrishna Doshi, Dyanita Singh's new book Portrait of a House: Conversations with BV Doshi consists of a series of conversations between Doshi and Singh held throughout lockdown.
Taking the form of a “sawal-jawab” or question/answer and prompted by photographs taken by Singh in Doshi’s home (Kamala House), the book reveals the many relationships between architecture, photography and light; family relations, stories and space.
