For MIF25, Shilpa Gupta has worked with different local community groups to explore absence, longing, belonging and hope.
Created in partnership with Rochdale Development Agency, this sound installation of singing microphones encourages visitors to wander through the space and take in different perspectives. A moving and thought-provoking work of art about waiting, persistence and hope.
