Curated by Sarah Lucas, BIG WOMEN is a group show featuring the work of twenty high-profile female artists, including Fiona Banner aka The Vanity Press.
Banner will be exhibiting her verbal portrait, Nude Standing (2003–5) which describes a nude woman in minute detail: from the colour of her hair to the texture of her skin. Her skill with words allows her to go where she could not tread with conventionally figurative art.
