Anna Barriball’s typographic artwork About 60 miles of beautiful views was commissioned by Art on the Underground. This is one of a collection of evocative phrases taken from the back of found photographs. Originally displayed in the stations of London’s Tube network, the cryptic texts are loaded with personal memory, yet connect with individual reasons for travel and the millions of private thoughts we carry on our journeys.
